I have been honored to be commissioned by the Smith Center for the Arts to create a Legacy Series of screen printed concert posters. The series consists of four posters that commemorate some pivotal nights in the history of the Smith Opera House. These posters will available exclusively at Lights! Camera! Auction! - A gala fine art auction benefiting The Smith Opera House on Saturday November 7. A small amount of Artist copies will be available directly from High Fidelity Prints Etsy shop starting 11/10/15. 

The theater provides the Finger Lakes Area with arts leadership, a wide range of quality live programs, as well as film and other cultural events. There is an ongoing effort to continue the restoration and upgrades of the theater so that William Smith’s vision for the Smith Opera House will continue to inspire and enthrall future generations.

I have been greatly inspired by some amazing shows in that venue and it has been an essential resource for years. The vision I had for this series was to make these posters look as though the were designed more for promotional purposes as opposed to band merchandise which is standard in modern times. Posters like these would have been commissioned by the promoter or the theater to get folks in the seats.
